The alarm didn’t ring

First check whether your old alarm was set for the same time. iOS lets its own alarm win over ours, and ours stays quiet. Turn the old one off and ours takes the morning. On Android, make sure AlarmSong is allowed to ignore battery optimisation, or the system can put it to sleep before your alarm is due.

No song by the morning

A song takes a minute or two to write and needs the internet at the moment you set the alarm. If it never arrived, the alarm still rings — with a fallback sound, not with silence. Open the app and set the alarm again while you have signal, and tell us if it keeps happening.

The app can’t see my calendar

Without the calendar the song still gets written, it just sings about the morning instead of your day. To let it in: on iPhone, Settings → AlarmSong → Calendars, and give it full access, because read-only is not enough to see existing events. On Android, Settings → Apps → AlarmSong → Permissions → Calendar. We only read the titles and times for the day ahead, and we never store your calendar.

Do I have to pay for this?

Not today. AlarmSong is free while we are still building it, and there is nothing to buy inside the app. When paid features do arrive, they will be sold through the App Store and Google Play, which means cancelling and refunds happen in your store account, not with us. We will say so here before anything changes.

How do I delete my account and my data?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. If you already removed the app, write to hello@alarmsong.com from the address you signed in with. Full details are on the deletion page. Deleting is final: there is no undo and no archive to restore from.

Something in a song was wrong

The songs are written by a machine from what your day looks like, and a machine can get it wrong or land badly. If a song says something it should not have, write to hello@alarmsong.com with the morning it happened. We read those first.
